How the Tools Work Together

Most players start with one tool and expand to the rest as their goals grow:

Planning a build: Load the PoB into PoB Trade Links for shopping links, then Build Budget for a total cost estimate.
Building a cash pile: Start with Divination Cards for liquid flips, then graduate to Investment Tracker for longer-term plays.
Spotting opportunities: Spike Tracker alerts on sudden price movements; cross-reference with Investment Tracker to decide whether to enter.
Crafting endgame gear: Orb Crafter generates trade links for influenced bases; Gem Profit tells you which gems are worth corrupting.
Niche tools: Cluster Jewels for passive tree optimisation, Forbidden Jewels for cross-ascendancy builds.

Where Our Data Comes From

All price data is sourced from poe.ninja, which aggregates listings from the official pathofexile.com trade site. Prices refresh every 30-45 minutes. Historical league data (used by Spike Tracker for pattern detection) is cached from five recent leagues: Settlers, Necropolis, Affliction, Ancestor, and Crucible.

For crafting data (mod tiers, influenced mod pools, cluster jewel notables), we use RePoE — the community-maintained mirror of Grinding Gear Games' game data. This is updated each league to reflect balance changes.

We don't call the GGG trade API directly for every user request — that would get us rate-limited instantly. Instead, aggregated data flows through poe.ninja's public endpoints, and trade links open on pathofexile.com where your individual browser handles authentication with GGG.

Design Principles

Free forever. Core tools are free and will stay free. Ads cover hosting costs. A future Pro tier may offer power-user features (saved builds, portfolio history, email alerts) but base functionality is never paywalled.
Fast load. Every tool should render in under two seconds on a cold load. No multi-megabyte bundles, no blocking analytics, no video ads.
No account required. You can use every tool without signing up. Accounts exist only if you want persistent state (saved portfolios, cross-device history).
Honest numbers. If a price is based on 3 listings, we say so. If an item has no trade data, we flag it. We don't pad numbers to make tools look more useful than they are.
Open to feedback. Tool quirks and missing features come straight from player requests. Bug reports and suggestions go through the bug report button in each tool.

We're a small team of Path of Exile players and developers who wanted better economy tools for ourselves and the community. All tools are free to use — we rely on ads to cover hosting costs.
