Path of Exile Economy, Crafting, and Build Tools
PoE Tools is a free collection of calculators, trackers, and trade link generators for Path of Exile. The tools share a common design goal: help players make economy and crafting decisions with accurate data instead of guesswork. Every tool uses real-time prices from poe.ninja and opens trade searches on the official pathofexile.com site.
How It Works
- Pick a tool from the grid above based on what you need. Pricing tools (Gem Profit, Div Cards, Build Budget) estimate profit or cost. Trackers (Investment Tracker, Spike Tracker) watch market movement. Crafting tools (Orb Crafter, Cluster Jewels, Forbidden Jewels) generate trade links for specific game mechanics.
- Every tool uses the same league and platform settings — set them once in the gear icon and they apply everywhere. Switch between Mirage (current) and Standard league depending on what you are researching.
- Prices refresh automatically every 30-45 minutes. If a tool shows stale data, refresh the page. All tools are free and work without an account.
- Trade links open pathofexile.com in a new tab. You still log in through the official GGG site — we never ask for your PoE credentials. Your trade account is entirely separate from any account you create here.
Example: A First-League Player Building a Cash Pile
You are on day 5 of the league with 50 chaos to your name. Goal: earn enough to buy a Headhunter by week 6. Start with Divination Cards — filter for high ROI with at least 20 listings per day. Flip small sets repeatedly to build to 10 divines.
At 10 divines, switch to Investment Tracker. Scan the Uniques category for items trending up with good volume. A 3 div unique moving toward 5 div lets you park currency into an appreciating asset while you farm.
By week 4, Spike Tracker starts flagging sudden price movements. Use these as exit signals — sell your held items into the spike. Convert gains into divines, then into your Headhunter.
Throughout: Build Budget tells you what you actually need for your character right now; don't overspend on gear you will replace. PoB Trade Links converts your PoB into shopping lists so you buy the right pieces.
Tips
- The tools work best together. A spike on Investment Tracker cross-referenced with Div Flipping can identify a card whose reward just spiked — flip the cards before the market catches up.
- Start simple. Pick one tool, learn its numbers, then expand. Most players over-tool and underestimate the value of just watching a single market closely for a week.
- Don't chase every flagged opportunity. Every "profit" number is an average — individual attempts have variance. Size trades to your budget.
- Bookmark the tools you use. The hub shows all of them but most players only need 2-3 for their playstyle.

- Do I need an account?
- No. Every tool works without signing up. Accounts exist for optional features — saved portfolios, cross-device history, and future Pro features. Basic functionality is always free and anonymous.
- What league do the tools support?
- The current challenge league (Mirage 3.28) and Standard. Switch between them with the gear icon in each tool. For POE 2 we have a separate trade link tool at poe2-trade.poetools.dev.
- How current are the prices?
- Prices update every 30-45 minutes via poe.ninja. For the fastest possible pricing, always cross-check on the live pathofexile.com trade site before committing to a large trade.
- Why is this free?
- Advertising covers hosting costs. We run Google AdSense ads — that plus our own pockets keeps the tools running for free. A future Pro tier may offer power-user features but the core tools stay free.
- Are you affiliated with Grinding Gear Games?
- No. This is a third-party fan site. Path of Exile is a registered trademark of Grinding Gear Games. We pull publicly available price data from poe.ninja and generate trade search URLs that open on the official GGG trade site.
- Can I use these tools on mobile?
- Most tools are mobile-responsive — you can browse prices and generate trade links from your phone. Tools with complex data tables (Investment Tracker, Cluster Jewels) are easier on a larger screen.
- How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?
- Every tool has a bug report button in the footer. Submissions go directly to the development team. We triage and respond within a few days.
- Is my data safe?
- We don't store trade account credentials — those stay with Grinding Gear Games. If you create an account, we store an email and display name, plus your auth provider (Google or GitHub). Our Privacy page has the full breakdown.
